Joint Scientific Activites
VETistanbul Group was internationally established to improve academic and cultural relationship, and to enable sharing of educational and research opportunities among the partner Veterinary Education Establishments by Sarajevo University, Stara Zagora Trakia University, Sofia Forestry University, Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, University of Pristine, Ganja State Agricultural University and Saint-Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine under the leadership of Istanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the year of 2013.
About 200 academicians and veterinary surgeons were participated to the first VETistanbul Group Congress which was held in 2014 with 40 oral and 90 poster presentations. Researchers from Ganja State Agricultural University (Azerbaijan), Sarajevo University (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Trakia University and Sofia Forestry University (Bulgaria), University of Banta (Algeria), Brno University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Czech republic), University of Extremadura (Spain), Kazakh National Agrarian University (Kazakhstan), Kyrgyz Turkish, Manas University (Kyrgyzstan), University of Pristine (Kosova), , Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia), National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico), Banat University of Agronomical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (Romania), Saint-Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology (Russia) and University of Thessaly (Greece) as well as other veterinary faculties of Turkey.
